25 Days...

Until Christmas!!! I woke up this morning at my parents house & there was snow on the ground! Not ready for there to be snow.

This is going to be a real short post. I will write more later. I got a new book this weekend & between getting projects done & wanting to read the book, I have no time to post.

There is lots to tell about our Thanksgiving weekend, but I must go to bed now & read! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving & lots of things to be thankful for, I know I did!

Until the next time...

This is why I don’t run…

So, yesterday I was playing around with Luke & we were running thru the upstairs of our house, I caught my big toe in my pant hem & this is what happened. It doesn’t hurt as bad as it looks. Actually it hurt worse yesterday & it didn’t look nearly this bad when I went to bed. The things we do while playing around with our boys.

Speaking of Luke, he had a big weekend this past weekend (& therefore we did too). Saturday we went for his buddy, Kaiden’s 5th birthday (which isn’t until this Friday), but he had a joint birthday with our other friends, Hunter (who turned 6) & Grant (who turned 3). After pizza, a pinata & cake & ice cream we headed out to see Madagascar 2. It was very funny!! All the kids & adults had a good time. After the movie we headed back to the Baker’s house (since Missy drove us to the movies) & hung out there for a few while the big boys played Xbox & the little boys played in Kaiden’s room.

On Sunday, my parents came down so my sister & my dad could go to the golf show at the Indiana State Fair. So, my mom came over to see Luke… she reminds me all the time when she doesn’t see him in like two days. Luke & mom (or MaMa as he calls her) went to Starbucks and Wal-mart where Luke convinced MaMa to buy him a toy. So, he came home with another Transformer, he is going to have nothing left for Santa Claus to get him on Christmas morning. I guess it will just be clothes for him.

Well, nothing else has been going on. I have about 3 more weeks of classes left (that’s not counting next week when we don’t have class because of Thanksgiving), I’m pretty excited to have my first semester down! Well, until the next time…

Halloween & Other Fun Stuff...

So, this weekend was busy!! Friday night we had trick or treat night. As you can see, Luke went as Optimus Prime (Transformer) & our friends, the Bakers, joined us, since Kaiden, Luke's best friend, dressed up as Bumblebee (another Transformer). Luckily the night was fairly warm & didn't have to put too many layers under the costumes! After about an hour of going door to door the boys were tired and wanted to go back to our house to rest up. Which was fine for us! We rested for a little while & kept my sister company. She was at our house to pass out candy again. So, once we got rid of all the candy, we all headed to the Brownsburg Police Department. They were having a haunted police dept. Luke enjoyed it, because he kept asking to go back through. Then we headed over to the fire department, where they were handing out candy & letting the kids go thru a fire truck. In the three years that we have lived here, this was the first year that we went to the police & fire department. Definitely will be making a return trip. As you can see, the boys really enjoyed acting the part of Transformers! :)

Luke & I crashed pretty early Friday night. There was a lot of trick or treating done!! Saturday morning we got up & headed over to the Baker's house to help them move. Well, Erik helped them move, I took the boys to McDonald's for lunch, then to a park & then back to McDonald's for ice cream. They had fun together & were still going at 8:30 that night. They were exhausted, but kept going so they wouldn't crash.

Sunday, we did absolutely nothing. It was a good day! Luke & I stayed in our pj's all day. We were pretty worn out from the whole weekend.

Not much else is going on. Just enjoying the beautiful weather here! I'm glad the elections are over for another 4 years. It's a good day!

Hope you all are enjoying the week! Until the next time...
